C&J Marine have made an enormous contribution to our sanity by custom fitting a
mattress for our cabin. It is made of high tech materials; waterproof, yet breathable
and shall go a long way to improving our comfort on the trip.

Our bottoms and and armpits are very grateful for the support we have received from
Icebreaker. They are kitting us out with their high tech merino wool baselayers.
Warm when wet and kind on the skin, they shall provide essential warmth protection
for our skin when the going gets tough.

Peter Cotton from Comar systems has generously supplied us with an Automatic Identification
System (AIS) class B which will allow ships to see us on their electronic plotters.
They can then decide whether to take either evasive action or engage full steam
ahead.

Goodridge Engineering have generously donated one of their Forgen wind generators
to the cause. This comes with a great deal of relief since despite assurances of
a fine summer we have a minor concern regarding the power output of our solar panels
in British inshore waters...

In an attempt to improve the quality of our sleep, Superyacht Doc have provided
us with outstanding Manson anchoring gear. A good connection to the seabed will
be invaluable in overcoming the tides.

Jeremy Rogers, The builders of the legendary Contessa 32 Yacht are kindly supporting
Row for Heroes by refitting Komale for the rigours of the GB circumnavigation. She
will emerge like a butterfly from their workshop at the end of April.

businesses at home and abroad with graphic design and website design
services since 1997. The Tinstar studio is run by Nick Beresford-Davies and
is backed up by a small, dedicated team of designers. A large proportion of
Tinstar's clients operate within the marine industry.

Goss Scientific are suppliers of specialised chemical reagents, stable isotopes and precision quartz tubes for scientific research. We are pleased to have supplied the stable isotope labelled water required to measure the energy expended by Nick and Hamish during their ‘Row for Heroes’.
