JOHNNY WILKINSON: OBE, England Rugby Player
Help for Heroes is a fantastic organization working to help those heroic service men and women who put their lives on the line day in and day out on behalf of their country and who, sadly, do face the threat of returning home with horrific and life changing injuries.
Last year I had the honor to meet several personnel at Headley Court where they were recovering from the ordeal of war with incredible support from a marvelous team of medics. It was a humbling experience and an absolute privilege.
There can never be enough recognition given to these brave and selfless individuals and any help we as a nation can give to support this most worthy cause is vital.
I wish Captain Hamish Reid and Captain Nick Dennison the very best of luck in their grueling Challenge rowing unsupported around Great Britain for such an extremely important and worthwhile charity.
